Clarification posted 9/14/2021:
Many members of the public registered and attended virtually the NH Vaccine Association’s Audit Committee meeting on September 9, 2021. It was clear from those who made verbal and online chat comments that there was serious confusion over the purpose of this meeting. Thursday’s Audit Committee meeting was in fact not a continuation of the Department of Health and Human Services’ hearing on September 8, 2021 regarding the vaccine registry system, nor was it a public hearing where the public could raise questions of the Audit Committee’s business. Multiple comments were made verbally and online by participants about the NH Vaccine Association that were patently false and misleading about the role and purpose of the NH Vaccine Association. The NH Vaccine Association is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is not a part of New Hampshire State government. The role of the NH Vaccine Association is to raise funds (assessments) from commercial insurance carriers to help pay for vaccines for children that are purchased by the State of New Hampshire. The NH Vaccine Association does not currently provide funds to support the NH Department of Health and Human Services’ administrative budget.
