A Principal at Helms & Company, Inc. since July 1, 2018, Patrick Miller’s 30-plus year career has been primarily in healthcare and human services. He assumed his role of Executive Director of the New Hampshire Vaccine Association on September 1, 2018. He also serves as the Administrative Director for the Washington Vaccine Association.
During his career he has worked across sectors — private, non-profit, education, and government — at the intersection of strategy, operations, and policy. Patrick has worked extensively with public purchasers, community mental health centers, federally qualified health centers, hospitals, area agencies, insurance departments, health departments, higher education institutes, and multiple association groups supporting safety net providers.
Patrick currently serves on the board of Speare Memorial Hospital, and is a past board member, advisory board member, or trustee for the following organizations: New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute, New Hampshire Health Information Organization, New Hampshire Governor’s Advisory Board State Innovation Model, APCD Council, US Health and Human Services Multi-Payer Database Board, National Association of Health Data Organizations, New Hampshire Public Health Association, Carbon Coalition, Chocorua Lake Association, Chocorua Lake Conservation Association, New England Carbon Challenge, and United Way of Merrimack County.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire, and his Master of Public Health from the University of New Hampshire Manchester.
Erin Meagher, Office ManagerErin Meagher has over 25 years working in various roles in the healthcare industry. As the Office Manager at Helms & Company, Inc., Erin plays a key role in the daily operations of the company. Acting as Executive Assistant and Financial Management Assistant for a number of the firms’ clients including the New Hampshire Vaccine Association, her activities include budgeting, tax preparation, scheduling, customer service, work group facilitation, education and marketing.
Erin began her career in the healthcare industry at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital. Prior to joining Helms & Company, Erin worked in a number of service oriented roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of NH including leadership positions with the Federal Employee Program and as a Provider Service Representative and a Business Systems Liaison and Analyst with the Provider Network Management division.
Keith Nix, MBA, ControllerKeith Nix is a senior healthcare finance and accounting professional with extensive experience within professional services, practice management and non-profit organizations. He has a strong background in financial reporting and compliance, analysis, operations management, and strategic planning. He joined Helms in September 2018 after spending six years at LRGHealthcare as the Practice Management Finance Manager. Prior to that role, Keith has worked for an orthopedics practice, a billing company, an infusion company, and several long-term care institutions. Keith resides in Concord.
